Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory using inventory management systems (WMS).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including OSHA regulations, to maintain a accident-free workplace.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Load & Unload: Perform loading and unloading of freight trucks, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in counting, labeling, and documentation.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
- Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, nights, or overtime as required.
