Role Overview
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our daily operations, ensuring that inventory is moved safely and efficiently. We prioritize safety and operational excellence in every aspect of our work.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety compliance and functionality.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated storage areas to maintain optimal workflow.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, orderly, and hazard-free work environment.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and inventory reports.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
