Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Safely and efficiently load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts, stock organization, and ensure accurate inventory records within the warehouse system.
- Packaging & Shipping: Prepare products for shipment, ensuring all packaging meets safety standards and customer requirements.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of material handling equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs for material transfers and shipping manifests.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling preferred.
- Licensing: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL Class A/B preferred but not always required for entry-level). Must have a clean driving record.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow strict safety and quality protocols.
- Equipment Proficiency: Experience operating various warehouse machinery (e.g., Reach Truck, Order Picker).
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
