Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks and trailers using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Control: Sort, organize, and stock incoming inventory to ensure accurate inventory counts and easy retrieval.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of warehouse equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
- Documentation: Verify shipment contents against packing lists and complete necessary paperwork accurately.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to meet daily productivity targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Ability: Capable of standing for long periods, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Driver’s License: A valid state-issued driver’s license is required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Experience: Prior warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
