Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move goods within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and store incoming stock while maintaining precise inventory records.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and meeting strict delivery deadlines.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on material handling equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Space Optimization: Organize the warehouse layout to maximize storage capacity and workflow efficiency.
- Load/Unload Operations: Safely load and unload trucks using proper techniques and equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or in a similar logistics role.
- Certification: Current forklift certification (required) or willingness to obtain one.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
- Driving Record: Valid driverβs license (clean driving record preferred for delivery roles).
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
