Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload freight trucks and containers while adhering to weight limits and safety regulations.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate stock counts and document inventory movements using warehouse management systems.
- Temperature Control: Monitor and record temperature logs to ensure strict compliance with food safety and storage guidelines.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and protective wrapping.
- Facility Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the freezer and cooler sections.
- Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials safely and efficiently (certification preferred).
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or cold storage environment is highly preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and work in cold environments.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and data entry.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable attendance record and be punctual.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
