Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials by hand or using material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Verify and maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and stock audits.
- Ensure all warehouse operations adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Package and prepare shipments for distribution, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents and hazards.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and material placement.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance checks and report malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid forklift certification (CDL not required, but preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Reliable transportation and a willingness to work varying shifts.
- Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is a major plus.
