Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials by hand or using material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Verify and count items received and ensure accuracy against purchase orders.
- Organize, stack, and store inventory in designated areas to maintain a safe and orderly warehouse.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of warehouse equipment and work areas.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Assist in inventory audits and cycle counting as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not always required (on-the-job training provided).
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery (certification preferred).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
