Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment to move materials
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records
- Inspect and prepare products for shipping/receiving with quality checks
- Maintain clean, organized work areas following OSHA guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking
- Train new hires on safety protocols and material handling procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year material handling/forklift experience required
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory systems
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety excellence
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
