Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Optimize inventory flow through precise receiving, put-away, and order fulfillment processes
- Maintain accurate warehouse documentation using WMS systems
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance operational efficiency
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming/outgoing shipments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Train junior staff on safety protocols and equipment operation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse/material handling experience
- OSHA certification and forklift certification required
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Experience with lean manufacturing/5S methodologies preferred
