Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring items are secured properly and weight limits are respected.
- Packaging: Package and label merchandise for shipment, ensuring accuracy and product integrity.
- Inventory Management: Assist in organizing stock, maintaining accurate inventory records, and identifying discrepancies.
- Machinery Operation: Utilize hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts (certification provided upon hiring) to move heavy materials.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and warehouse regulations to maintain a hazard-free workspace.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily productivity goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Math Skills: Basic math skills for counting inventory and measuring.
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and be punctual.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in various weather conditions (loading docks) and flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
