Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently move raw materials and finished goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through systematic scanning and documentation
- Inspect and prepare shipments for optimal transit conditions
- Operate warehouse machinery in compliance with OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production targets
- Implement lean principles to optimize material flow and reduce waste
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of material handling or warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
- Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
