Responsibilities
- Safely Load and Unload: Efficiently load and unload freight onto and off trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy of stock and proper tagging.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on material handling equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other staff to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Reliability: Strong work history with a focus on punctuality and attendance.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred but not required.
- Basic Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Legal Requirements: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
