Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipping and delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards.
- Report inventory discrepancies and damaged goods immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid forklift certification (CPS card) or be willing to obtain one.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Basic reading and writing skills for completing paperwork.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
