Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers with precision and care to prevent damage to goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and completing required paperwork.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure machinery is in good working order.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and shipping schedules.
- Assist in the organization and layout of the warehouse storage areas.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous experience operating forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, or Pallet Jack) in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and paperwork.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
