Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Organize stock in designated warehouse areas and verify incoming shipments against packing slips.
- Equipment Operation: Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management software to track inventory levels accurately.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Quality Assurance: Perform routine inspections of goods to ensure they meet company standards before storage or shipment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and operating equipment.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability in previous employment.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
