Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify inventory accuracy by conducting physical counts and reconciling stock levels.
- Package and prepare shipments for distribution using appropriate materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the receiving and shipping of goods, ensuring documentation is accurate.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics setting is preferred but not required (training available).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift certification.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
