Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload products within the warehouse facility.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick items from the inventory system and package them for shipment, ensuring all labels and documentation are correct.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts, organizing stock, and ensuring the warehouse is clean and orderly.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet company standards before they leave the facility.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance issues to management immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Work collaboratively with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas efficiently.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and order fulfillment processes.
- Reliability: A track record of punctuality and dependability is essential.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; valid driver's license is a plus.
