- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport materials within the cold storage facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, pick and pack orders accurately, and update inventory systems in real-time.
- Cold Chain Integrity: Ensure strict adherence to temperature logs and handling procedures to maintain product quality.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of machinery and equipment, reporting any malfunctions immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and workplace regulations to prevent accidents.
- Order Fulfillment: Process customer orders efficiently and prepare shipments for delivery.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in cold environments.
- Reliability: Punctual attendance and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not required.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Certification is a plus (training available if needed).
