Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport freight using forklifts and pallet jacks efficiently.
- Pick, pack, and verify orders against packing slips with high accuracy.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols at all times.
- Operate scanning equipment and warehouse management software (WMS) accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments for local and regional distribution.
- Maintain proper documentation for all incoming and outgoing materials.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Forklift certification is a plus but will be provided upon hiring.
