Key Responsibilities
As a Picker Packer, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations:
- Product Retrieval: Efficiently locate and pick products from warehouse shelves using handheld scanners.
- Packing & Labeling: Accurately pack items into boxes, ensuring they are secure and properly labeled for shipment.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (training provided).
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage before packing to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who are ready to work hard and learn new skills. The ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and ability to work well in a fast-paced team setting.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills to follow pick tickets and safety instructions.
- Availability: Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as business needs dictate.
