Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack items from the warehouse floor according to customer orders and packing slips.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards to prevent shipping errors.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and reporting discrepancies to the team lead.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep workstations, aisles, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts (if certified) as required.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including shipping labels and logbooks.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: No prior warehouse experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic math skills for reading labels and weighing items; excellent attention to detail.
- Availability: Reliable attendance and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Background: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
