Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with all safety protocols.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate digital or manual records of stock movements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping, organizing pallets, and removing trash.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies regarding hazardous materials and workplace safety.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to coordinate workflow.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to obtain a forklift certification (we offer training for qualified candidates).
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
