Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) safely and efficiently to move, stack, and organize inventory.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo for transport.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required by management.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification or license.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit to perform job duties, including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and bending.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
