Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of the forklift to ensure all safety mechanisms are functioning correctly.
- Verify inventory accuracy by conducting cycle counts and reconciling stock discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety regulations and 5S standards.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and proper pallet organization.
- Assist in packaging, labeling, and preparing shipments for carrier delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends or nights if required.
