Responsibilities
- Execute Precise Picking: Utilize handheld scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately select and retrieve products from designated storage locations.
- Perform Quality Packing: Ensure all items are securely packaged, labeled correctly, and prepared for shipment according to strict safety and quality standards.
- Inventory Verification: Cross-reference orders with packing slips to minimize errors and resolve discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain Workflow Efficiency: Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily throughput targets and maintain a high-speed, organized work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and report on the condition of packing materials, pallet jacks, and scanning equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Adhere to Safety Protocols: Strictly follow OSHA guidelines and company safety policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace for all employees.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on repetitive tasks while maintaining high accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic Computer Literacy: Comfortable using handheld scanners and basic warehouse software interfaces.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
- High School Diploma: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
