Responsibilities
- Pick and pack merchandise from warehouse shelves based on picking tickets and computer-generated work orders.
- Verify product details and quantities to ensure 100% order accuracy before shipping.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts (certification preferred but not always required).
- Scan barcodes and labels to accurately update inventory systems in real-time.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times to comply with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity and quality targets.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn to use handheld scanners and warehouse management software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, climate-controlled warehouse environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
