Responsibilities
- Maintain real-time inventory records using WMS software (Oracle/JDA experience preferred)
- Conduct daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies within 24 hours
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams to verify inbound/outbound documentation
- Generate inventory reports for management review and process improvement initiatives
- Implement FIFO rotation protocols for perishable goods in refrigerated zones
- Train temporary staff on inventory control procedures during peak seasons
- Collaborate with procurement to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years inventory control experience in warehouse or retail environment
- Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and barcode scanning systems
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8-hour shifts
- Strong analytical skills with attention to 99.5% inventory accuracy standards
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in logistics a plus
