Responsibilities
- Perform regular physical counts of stock and reconcile inventory records with system databases to ensure accuracy.
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments, verifying quantities and conditions against purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory logs using Excel, ERP systems, or warehouse management software.
- Assist in the organization, labeling, and storage of warehouse materials to maximize workflow efficiency.
- Identify, report, and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies or damaged goods promptly.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Keep the inventory workspace clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; associate degree in logistics or supply chain preferred.
- Previous experience working as an Inventory Clerk, Stock Clerk, or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and discrepancies quickly.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and move around the warehouse.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain operations.
