Responsibilities
- Maintain real-time inventory accuracy using barcode scanning systems and ERP software
- Conduct daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies with purchase orders
- Coordinate with procurement teams to optimize stock levels and prevent shortages
- Prepare detailed inventory reports for management review and compliance
- Implement FIFO/FEFO protocols to ensure product freshness and integrity
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to streamline receiving and shipping processes
- Support physical inventory audits and system upgrades
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of inventory control or warehouse experience
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Fishbowl)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Forklift certification preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Basic knowledge of OSHA warehouse safety standards
