Responsibilities
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing slips.
- Prepare and organize stock for storage, ensuring proper labeling and location tagging.
- Assist in the preparation of outbound orders, including picking, packing, and labeling.
- Report discrepancies in stock levels or damaged goods to the Inventory Supervisor immediately.
- Keep the warehouse storage areas clean, organized, and safe for all staff members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in logistics or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Stock Clerk, or in warehouse operations is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with computers and data entry software.
- Familiarity with barcode scanners and inventory management software is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (optional but preferred for local deliveries).
