Responsibilities
- Conduct regular physical counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Maintain organized, labeled storage areas to facilitate efficient retrieval.
- Update inventory management software and databases in real-time.
- Report discrepancies or damages immediately to the Warehouse Manager.
- Assist in the preparation of reports regarding stock levels and turnover rates.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and handheld scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Basic math skills for calculating stock levels and discrepancies.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
