Responsibilities
- Perform daily inventory counts: Conduct cycle counts and full physical audits to ensure stock accuracy against our digital records.
- Manage data entry: Update inventory management systems (ERP) in real-time, ensuring all incoming and outgoing stock is logged correctly.
- Reconcile discrepancies: Investigate and resolve inventory variances, damaged goods, or missing items immediately.
- Organize warehouse space: Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient storage area, ensuring items are labeled and accessible.
- Assist with logistics: Support the shipping and receiving team by preparing manifests and checking invoices for accuracy.
- Equipment maintenance: Regularly inspect and report on the condition of scanners, handheld devices, and shelving units.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics is preferred but not mandatory; we provide on-the-job training.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and experience with inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Fishbowl) is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain high data integrity standards.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team.
