Responsibilities
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
- Maintain and update digital inventory records using ERP and barcode scanning systems.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify quantities against packing slips.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to locate and retrieve items for orders efficiently.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies or stock shortages to management immediately.
- Keep the inventory area organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Assist in implementing inventory control policies to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Warehouse Associate, or Stock Clerk preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for calculating stock counts and valuations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime during peak seasons.
