Responsibilities
- Conducting Audits: Perform daily cycle counts and monthly physical inventory audits to ensure 100% accuracy of stock levels.
- Receiving Operations: Inspect and verify incoming shipments against packing lists, logging data into our ERP systems with precision.
- System Management: Update and maintain inventory databases (SAP/Oracle) to reflect real-time stock movements and availability.
- Report Generation: Analyze inventory data to produce accurate reports, identifying discrepancies and suggesting process improvements.
- Stock Organization: Assist in the organization of warehouse aisles and storage areas to optimize workflow and retrieval speed.
- Vendor Liaison: Communicate with vendors regarding backorders, damaged goods, or inventory shortages as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain high data integrity standards.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration.
