In this role, you will be the guardian of our inventory data, ensuring that our stock levels match our records perfectly. You will work closely with the warehouse team to streamline operations and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle counts and conduct monthly physical inventories to ensure 100% stock accuracy.
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments using barcode scanners and inventory management software.
- Manage the organization and placement of stock within the warehouse to maximize storage efficiency.
- Update digital inventory records in real-time to reflect stock movements and discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation and labeling of outbound orders for shipping.
- Identify damaged goods or shortages and report them immediately to the warehouse supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory software such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
