Responsibilities
- Conduct daily cycle counts and participate in annual physical inventories to ensure 100% inventory accuracy.
- Log and track inventory movements using warehouse management software (WMS) such as SAP or Oracle.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damages, discrepancies, or quality control issues.
- Organize warehouse storage areas and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Assist in the preparation of customer orders for shipping and receiving.
- Report any stock shortages or errors to the warehouse supervisor immediately.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize storage space and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Warehouse Associate, or in a similar logistics role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and inventory management software.
- Strong mathematical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driverβs license (not always required, but a plus).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
