The Opportunity:
As an Inventory Clerk, you are the guardian of our stock. You will bridge the gap between physical stock and our digital records, ensuring our operations run seamlessly. This role requires a sharp eye for detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and spot checks to maintain 100% stock accuracy.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for quantity, damage, or discrepancies; report variances immediately.
- Update and reconcile inventory databases and management systems (WMS) in real-time.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to resolve stock variances and identify missing items.
- Organize and label storage areas to ensure efficient stock retrieval and FIFO compliance.
- Generate and maintain accurate inventory reports for management review.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks when necessary to ensure timely fulfillment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in logistics or supply chain preferred.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Strong numerical aptitude and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Basic understanding of inventory management software is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
