Responsibilities
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and annual stocktakes to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Reconcile physical stock counts against system records and investigate and resolve discrepancies immediately.
- Update and maintain accurate inventory databases and digital logs using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Prepare and organize detailed inventory reports, stock lists, and transfer documents for management review.
- Coordinate closely with purchasing and shipping departments to monitor stock levels and prevent stockouts.
- Assist in organizing warehouse storage areas to maximize efficiency and safety standards.
- Perform data entry tasks with high speed and zero error rates.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, specifically VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables) and familiarity with WMS software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Manhattan) is required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Basic math skills and the physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift boxes up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
