Responsibilities
- Conduct daily cycle counts and periodic physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Reconcile incoming shipments against purchase orders, verifying quantities and condition.
- Update and maintain inventory management software and spreadsheets in real-time.
- Locate and retrieve stock items for order fulfillment and shipping.
- Report discrepancies and damaged goods to the warehouse supervisor immediately.
- Assist in organizing storage areas and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize stock flow and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in supply chain or logistics is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk, Stock Clerk, or in a similar warehouse role.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or similar).
- Basic math skills for calculating quantities and handling cash or petty cash (if applicable).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
