Job Summary
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for overseeing the flow of goods in and out of our facility. You will ensure that our stock levels are accurate, our records are up-to-date, and our shipping processes run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and document incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical records of inventory using WMS software.
- Perform regular cycle counts and participate in annual physical stocktakes.
- Pack, label, and prepare outgoing orders for delivery.
- Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or missing items immediately.
- Keep the warehouse storage areas organized and compliant with safety standards.
- Assist in the management of stock rotation to ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
- Excellent attention to detail and number crunching skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Must be available to work full-time, including weekends or holidays if required.
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus.
