Responsibilities
- Conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories to ensure 100% stock accuracy.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, documenting discrepancies immediately.
- Update inventory management systems in real-time using handheld scanners and desktop software.
- Organize warehouse storage areas to maximize efficiency and ensure safety compliance.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling orders.
- Report damaged goods or missing inventory to the warehouse supervisor for resolution.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Stock Clerk, or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Proficiency with inventory management software, barcode scanners, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
- Strong numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus but not required.
