Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move materials.
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S principles.
- Stock Control: Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to management to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Load & Unload: Load and unload trucks utilizing proper safety protocols and equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Certification: Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehousing or logistics is a plus.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs frequently and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Strong reading and comprehension skills; basic computer proficiency with inventory software is required.
- Attitude: Must be safety-conscious, reliable, and able to work well in a team-oriented environment.
