Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting cycle counts.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on machinery and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Shipping & Receiving: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations or material handling is preferred.
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (CDL not required but a plus).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Skills: Basic computer skills and ability to read and understand safety labels.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
