Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock maintenance.
- Picking and Packing: Select and package orders according to customer specifications and quality standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse organized and clean to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred.
- Licensure: Valid forklift certification (CDL not required but a plus).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and attention to detail.
