Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and stage materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count and record stock levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment to prevent accidents.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including packing slips and delivery logs.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL not required but preferred).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
