Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment with precision
- Manage inventory accuracy through systematic receiving, stocking, and shipping processes
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and quality standards
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics operations including order fulfillment and dock scheduling
- Optimize warehouse efficiency through lean methodology implementation
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Train junior staff on material handling best practices
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional warehouse/material handling experience
- Certified forklift operator license (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and hazardous material handling
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid Kansas driver's license required
