Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks efficiently and safely.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the receiving, storing, and issuing of goods, ensuring accurate stock counts and proper labeling.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with high accuracy and speed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance on warehouse equipment and report any issues immediately.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, including inventory counts and damage reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or in logistics preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Forklift Certification: Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and shipping documentation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
