Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely operate material handling equipment to load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secure and organized.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate cycle counts and stock checks to maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse system.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to strict safety protocols and 5S standards.
- Packaging & Labeling: Properly package and label products according to shipping standards and customer requirements.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine visual inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts and pallet jacks.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment is a plus but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License required for warehouse transport duties.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain data accuracy.
