As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that our products are moved, stored, and tracked efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to and from loading docks, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to transport goods safely.
- Verify inventory accuracy by counting stock and documenting stock location.
- Package and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Assist in the receiving process, inspecting incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and operational goals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Forklift certification is a plus but we provide training for qualified candidates.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work various shifts as needed.
